    • Led sales and marketing efforts to drive business from the CMBS special servicing/regional lender community, given the extraordinarily high number of hotel REO opportunities emanating from this sector

    • Procured and led execution of hotel real estate sales in excess of $225 million between 2005 and 2007
    • Achieved significant success with business development focused on portfolio engagements – was lead team member on two portfolio transactions in 2006 and 2007 in excess of $75 million apiece
    • Led efforts in creating a sub-specialty practice in brokering hotel development parcels – this initiative commenced in 2007 and gained significant traction in 2008

    • Led transaction team in the acquisition and development of existing buildings and new development totaling more than $200 million in connection with BellSouth’s implementation of its Atlanta Metro Plan covering three campuses and more than 1 million square feet of Class “A” office space
    • Led transaction team in the site identification and build-to-suit process for a 200,000 square foot regional headquarters facility for Cox Communications
    • Top 5 Producer in firm in 2002 and 2001
  • Confederation Life Insurance Company – June 1993 to May 1997 – Associate Counsel – Represented both the REO and Mortgage Investment Departments
    • Primary responsibility for the negotiation and drafting of all types of commercial real estate and secured lending documents, including office, retail and industrial assets
    • Led internal legal efforts on behalf of receiver in connection with the securitization and liquidation of over $3 billion in REO and mortgage assets upon the liquidation of the company
