Positions Available:
Associate - Brokerage Analyst (Entry Level Position)
Due to increasing deal volume, HREC Investment Advisors currently has openings for one to two Analyst positions in our Denver headquarter office. The Analyst position gives a hotel real estate career minded professional the opportunity to be exposed to high level real estate transactions, including property sales, debt placements, structured finance and equity placements. Past Analyst alumni have gone onto positions in hotel real estate and finance, including work for hotel companies, opportunity funds and asset management positions, as well as remaining in the HREC family in brokerage and as investment banking professionals.

Requirements:
- Significant Intellectual Capital;
- BS/BA degree in hotel administration;
- Hotel and/or casino operating experience;
- Strong analytical, financial and writing skills;
- Solid work knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Self-motivated;
- Strong work ethic, available fro extensive travel throughout North America, job will require working some nights and weekends in addition to days;
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-energy entrepreneurial environment where you can play a critical role in the on-going growth of a prestigious national firm.
Responsibilities:
- Brokerage: Assist senior brokers and investment bankers in preparation of Disposition Analyzes, research and preparation of IOM's (Investment Offering Memorandums), provide support to facilitate closing of hotel transactions;
- Travel: Must visit, inspect and analyze hotels and resorts located in North America;
- High Level Interaction: Extensive client exposure directly with hotel, real estate and gaming industry leaders and client company presidents/senior level executives;
- Extensive Exposure: Work on major, high-profile hospitality industry projects.

Paid Internships
Requirements:

Responsibilities:
Assist brokerage and consulting analyst in preparing Investment Offering Memorandums (IOM), Appraisals and Feasibility Studies. Additional task include maintaining a growing database of potential investors and industry contacts, help plan and coordinate company events and functions for clients and provide administrative support for the Denver office.
